Hello, my wonderful readers,
Guess what i saw today...
Yep, a new Savvy by DB display at Priceline! As much as i love the Savvy by DB range for their affordability and quality, i never really found myself venturing towards their display for many reasons. The display was always badly stocked and equally badly lit, and the products had been opened and some products admittedly were not great quality.
Today, i swatched all the blushes and some lipsticks and lipglosses as well, and i have to say i am so incredibly impressed and excited by their new products. And the good news is that they are still very affordable.
I wanted to get their lipgloss because it seems to be very pigmented but i'm not sure about the stickiness and i do have a few lipglosses already...
Here's two of the products i picked up today, and you can be sure i'll be going back to try more:

Now all the blushes and most of the bronzer and highlighter products are quite shimmery, so if you don't like shimmer, you probably won't find any matte blushes but i think they do have a matte bronzer.
I really love the new packaging, the new amazing quality and the affordability, especially for the amount you get. The Mosaic Jumbo Illuminiser was $AUD 9.99 for 20.1g/0.7oz and the Graduating Blush was $AUD 6.99 for 8.9g/0.31oz.
Obviously, the display in my local Priceline hasn't been fully stocked but i think most of the products are now in the display. Now that the quality of Savvy by DB has shot up, i'm definitely going to start trying out all their products!
To my fellow Aussies, let me know if you try out any of these new products and what you think of them!

I really liked Savvy before, but as you said, the stand was never particularly appealing. Glad to hear the new products seem to be of a good quality. Can't wait to test them all out!

Hi Cathy! I've seen these new empty display stands in local WA Pricelines, and have been so dismayed to see that there's no line spaces for my fave of their range, the beautiful, creamy, long-lasting Luxury Liners. I am hoping they are releasing them under a different name, as I think they were among the best eyeliners out there on the Aussie market! Will have to do further investigations! Thanks for letting me know- Jodi xo
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering about their revamp! I'd be curious to see if my local Priceline will have stocked up on the new range, need to check out the new products. The illuminiser and blush would probably be among my first picks as well :)
